This role involves supporting the event organiser to secure locations, stall holder/vendor coordination, community group engagements, and managing volunteers.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning:
- Plan event details and schedules.
- Find and book event locations.
Stall Holder Coordination:
- Recruit and communicate with stall holders.
- Provide necessary information and resources.
Community Group Engagement:
- Reach out to local community groups.
- Build relationships with community partners.
- Coordinate their participation in events.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Good organisational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Experience in event planning is a plus.
- Passion for community engagement.
Time Commitment:
- Flexible hours, with more time needed during events.
- Ideally 3-4 hours dedicated per week
