Multiple Sclerosis (MS plus)is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for short walks or have a cuppa/chat , listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the social life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship. We are seeking a compassionate and outgoing individual to provide social friendship to an interesting engaging gentleman residing in an aged care home. Our ideal candidate is someone who is non-judgmental, empathetic, and enjoys engaging in meaningful conversations. The ability to bring joy and friendship to our resident's life is paramount. You need to have a genuine desire to make a positive impact in someone's life, is highly valued.
