Adult Sewing Club Volunteer - Tuesday night

We are looking for someone who is skilled with sewing machines to assist and inspire our adult sewing group. You'll help our members create amazing projects and connect with a community of fellow crafters at Chatswood Library.

Our library is committed to providing resources and programs that support lifelong learning, creativity, and community engagement. Our Tuesday sewing club is one of the many ways we seek to bring people together to share skills and connect with others.

Key Duties:

  • Provide guidance and assistance with using electrical sewing machines
  • Assist members with their sewing projects and provide feedback on their work
  • Engage with members and foster a sense of community within the group
  • Help with setting up and cleaning up equipment and materials

Skills and Experience required:

  • A love for sewing
  • Knowledge of using sewing machines
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a friendly demeanor
