The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in South West Sydney.

From sport to art, pets to gardening, walking to yoga, baking to craft, movies to music, coffee to crosswords… whatever you love, you can share it with someone who loves it too. 

As a Volunteer Social Visitor, you will provide companionship and meaningful social interaction for older people living in your community.

We’re looking for a friendly person who would love to brighten the day of a elderly lady in Bradbury. Our client speaks both English and Arabic, ideally we are seeking a Volunteer visitor for weekly or fortnightly visits who may also speak Arabic, spend time having a chat over a cuppa or a short walk around the area together.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
