Kittie Kat Rescue Inc. (KKR) is looking for a creative and skilled Web Designer to volunteer their time and expertise to help enhance our online presence. The Web Designer will work closely with the marketing and communications team to create a user-friendly, visually appealing, and informative website that effectively communicates our mission and engages our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Continue to develop and improve our website that aligns with KKR's branding and mission.
2. Collaborate with the marketing team to create a visually appealing layout and design for the website.
3. Ensure the website is optimised for search engines (SEO) and is accessible across various devices and browsers.
4. Update and maintain website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
5. Implement interactive features such as donation forms, volunteer sign-up forms, and event calendars.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve any website issues or bugs promptly.
7. Monitor website performance and analytics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
8. Provide training and support to team members on website management and content updates.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in web design and development, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages and tools.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website analytics.
• Strong graphic design skills and proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
• Passion for animal welfare and the mission of Kitty Kat Rescue.
