Position Overview

As a member of our Board of Directors, you will collaborate with a diverse and dedicated group of professionals, leveraging your expertise to contribute to the organisation's strategic planning, governance and overall success. You will have the opportunity to:

• Provide valuable insights and perspectives that will guide the organisation's strategic vision and goals.
• Ensure the organisation operates in accordance with its mission, values and legal obligations, while upholding the highest standards of transparency and accountability.
• Contribute to fundraising efforts, resource allocation and partnerships that sustain and enhance our impact.
• Act as a passionate ambassador for our organisation, promoting our mission and engaging stakeholders to further our cause.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who embody our organisation's values and are committed to making a meaningful contribution to our mission. Ideal candidates will possess:

• A track record of strategic thinking and decision-making that has driven positive outcomes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of individuals.
• A passion for and alignment with our mission, along with a clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities within our sector.

Time Commitment

This is a voluntary position that requires a dedication of approximately 5-10 hours per month. Board meetings will be held monthly and will be conducted in person or virtually.
