Justice of the Peace (JP)
City of Port Adelaide EnfieldWe are seeking South Australia appointed Justice of the Peace (JPs) to provide a reliable and confidential service to members of the public in accordance with council and legislative requirements within council buildings such as libraries, community centres and the Civic Centre.
Responsibilities
- Provide a professional, welcoming and friendly service
- Act as an independent and objective witness to documents people use for official or legal purposes
- Be part of a dedicated team of volunteers that provide a well utilised Justice of the Peace service during City of PAE business hours
- Record all volunteer hours and JP stats
Requirements and Conditions
- Applicants will need to be registered with the SA Attorney General’s Department
When and Where
- Flexible times during operating hours across all Council Offices (subject to room availability)
