Integratedliving Australia is in search of volunteers for the role of Activity Centres Assistant at our dementia specific centres located at Gorokan, Gosford, and Woy Woy. The organization provides a wide range of services and programs aimed at assisting clients in maintaining an active and independent lifestyle with the help of expert staff. As a volunteer with integratedliving Australia, you will play a crucial role in supporting older individuals to live independently and stay connected to their community. Your responsibilities will involve offering companionship, social support, and practical assistance to ensure their well-being.

Key responsibilities of the volunteer role include:

• Social Support: Engage with clients at the activity centres, have conversations about their day, interests, and hobbies. Activities may include playing games, reading books, or simply providing a friendly presence. • Practical Assistance: Assist clients in participating in activities that align with their interests and capabilities. Help staff organize various activities, including meal preparation and serving under supervision, and act as a bus host for client transportation. • Community Connection: Serve as a source of support to help clients engage in community activities. Aid clients in building connections within the community.
