As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and managing content, engaging with our community, and driving our social media strategy.

Key Responsibilities: Develop, curate, and schedule engaging content for our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).

Create visually appealing graphics, videos, and stories to highlight our dogs and their journeys.

Monitor social media trends and adjust strategies to maximize reach and engagement.

Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster a supportive online community.

Collaborate with our team to plan and promote events, fundraisers, and adoption drives.

Analyze social media metrics and report on the effectiveness of campaigns.

Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in social media and animal rescue.

Qualifications: Passion for animal welfare and commitment to the mission of Dog Rescue Newcastle.

Proven experience in social media management, preferably in a non-profit or related industry.

Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.

Proficiency in using social media platforms and tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite

Creative thinking and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
