About Us

Little Helpers on the Run is an initiative dedicated to nurturing compassionate citizenship in children through acts of kindness. With a dedicated team of volunteers, we've successfully completed over 6,000 projects in collaboration with schools, nursing homes, and various community organizations. These projects aim to support vulnerable members of society and promote a culture of empathy and support. Little Helpers has partnered with SAZ Education to create health literacy videos, forming a crucial component of our comprehensive health literacy project involving youth and university students.

Location and Hours

This is a remote position with flexible hours, allowing you to work comfortably from home.

About the Role

We're currently seeking a skilled 3D Rigger and Graphic Designer proficient in Blender to rig characters and create engaging 3D videos for our health literacy project. The ideal candidate will have experience in both 3D character designing and animation.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Ability to work independently while also following instructions
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills
  • Proficiency in necessary graphic designing and publishing tools
  • Experience in 3D rigging in Blender
  • Expertise Required for 3D Rigging:
  • Proficiency in Blender or similar 3D software
  • Understanding of character anatomy and movement
  • Experience in rigging characters, props, and other assets
  • Knowledge of skinning and weight painting
  • Ability to troubleshoot rigging issues
  • Familiarity with animation principles and techniques

Requirements

  • This is a non-child-facing role; you will not interact with minors or volunteers directly.
  • You can register either as a contractor or volunteer. Volunteers must undergo a Working with Children Check and a Police check.
  • Professionalism and timely delivery are essential, even for unpaid work.
