Kempsey Museum is a highly regarded local history Museum located in a purpose built, architect designed building in South Kempsey Park. Tasks will include: cleaning of Museum and Cottage interior as per regular schedule: inspection of the building interior, exterior and grounds, noting any defects and prescribing actions.

The successful applicant will report to the Curator to maintain the clean and attractive appearance of Kempsey Museum.

Kempsey Museum is accredited with Museums & Galleries Australia with a comfortable workplace ensuring an attractive and welcoming atmosphere for volunteers. A reward and Recognition Programme is in place.

The well maintained display cabinets and interior of our Museum and Settlers' Cottage will add to our visitor experience resulting in repeat visits and referrals. A regular maintenance program will minimise possibility of damage to the building and its collections during natural events.
