Kempsey Museum is a highly regarded local history Museum located in a purpose built, architect designed building in South Kempsey Park. Tasks will include: the scanning of donated photographs, cataloguing these and filing in our system; updating records in our system as photographs are identified, researching these and ensuring information is accurate; printing of photographs to fulfil photograph orders.

Kempsey Museum is accredited with Museums & Galleries Australia with a comfortable workplace ensuring an attractive and welcoming atmosphere for volunteers. A reward and Recognition Programme is in place.

Our photographic collection is frequently accessed by visitors researching local or family history on our dedicated computer and requires continuos updating with new acquisitions. The successful applicant may also be asked to assist in sourcing and providing photographs for our Society publications.
