If so, the Australian Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Practitioners (AMAPP) invites you to join our board as a voluntary board member in the credentialing & registration portfolio.
About AMAPP:
AMAPP is a leading professional association dedicated to promoting safe, effective, and ethical practices in psychedelic therapy and facilitation. We provide accreditation and support to therapists, facilitators, and supervisors working with psychedelic-assisted therapies across various disciplines.
Role Duties:
As a voluntary board member, your primary responsibilities will include:
Reviewing Applications: Collaborating with the credentialing subcommittee members to review applications for AMAPP membership, ensuring compliance with AMAPP accreditation guidelines for Psychedelic Therapists and Facilitators.
Liaising with Applicants: Communicating with prospective members regarding the outcome of their applications and assisting in the process of adding successful applicants to the membership portal.
Providing Guidance: Advising prospective members on additional training requirements to meet AMAPP membership guidelines as therapists or facilitators.
Supervisor Accreditation: Obtaining and assessing applications for AMAPP accredited supervisors in accordance with AMAPP supervisor guidelines.
Board Meetings: Attending monthly board meetings with other AMAPP board members to discuss organisational matters, make strategic decisions, and contribute to the overall direction of the association.
Requirements:
- Strong commitment to the mission and values of AMAPP.
- Experience in credentialing, preferably in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with psychedelic therapy and facilitation is desirable but not essential.
