Who are we? Ronald McDonald House Charities is one of the leading Global and Australian children’s charities supporting the ever-changing needs of seriously ill children and their families. In-line with our mission, Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney (RMHC GWS) has dedicated more than 43 years to keeping families closer to their child with a serious illness who require treatment and support.

As a House Hero Volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to be the shining light for the families staying at RMHC GWS.

What we're looking for is people who are able to:

• Assis with maintaining cleanliness of Kitchen facilities
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness in the House and Family Rooms
• Assist in event preparation and execution

We are looking for people that are inspired by our mission and actively want to contribute to the values held by RMHC GWS:

We are looking for people that are able to commit for at least 6 months with the potential to continue.

You must be 18 years + to volunteer with RMHC GWS.

What is the selection and recruitment process?

To volunteer you will need to complete an online application and be available for a telephone interview.

What compliance is required?

• WWCC
• Police check
• 2 doses of the Covid vaccination
• Signing and agreeing to our Code of Conduct

What do we need from you?

• Be contactable by email as this is how we will communicate with you
• Be a team player who loves engaging with people
• Be able to demonstrate a commitment to our values
• Understand and practice confidentiality
