The Nutrition and Hydration Expert Advisory Group are responsible for making sure patients receive a high standard of food and beverages at Barwon Health. We are looking for a consumer to join as an ongoing member. It is important that you, or someone you care about has been a patient at Barwon Health. This could have been at University Hospital Geelong, the McKellar Centre, or Residential Aged Care. Experience living with special dietary requirements would be a bonus! Your role will be to impart knowledge and experience of food and beverage provisions at Barwon Health while we work to rectify issues, and continually improve the service. You will need to have the confidence to talk about personal experiences about food & beverage provisions in a small group of Barwon Health staff. In particular if they are negative or uncomfortable. Together the group will review and monitor policies, procedures, safety & quality projects, and interventions to help improve the food service experience for consumers and patients.
