Providential Homes is a Christian faith based, not-for-profit, charitable organisation that specialises in providing emergency accommodation for those in necessitous or crisis circumstances.

We're looking for volunteers to join our team with Administration duties in our Glendenning Warehouse. Volunteers must be available for at least 3 hours per week and committed to working with us for at least 3 months.

The role includes:

  • Data entry and maintaining records
  • Updating cloud-based systems for all our guest details, ensuring accuracy and real-time information on bookings
  • Various printing, scanning, uploading and entering of forms, data and checklists, and other documents as requested
  • Manage filing systems, ensuring physical and online filing systems are maintained and up to date
  • Respecting the strict confidentiality of our guests, volunteers and staff including records and discussions pertaining to personal circumstances, etc
  • Assisting in other admin duties as required

Volunteers should ideally have the following:

  • A strong commitment to both the Mission and Vision Statements and to the values of Providential Homes
  • Professional presentation
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously and independently
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • On the job training will be provided

This role will be based out of our location office in Glendenning between 9am-2pm Monday to Friday.
