2. Duties Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role’s duties include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Bookkeeping: Accurately record financial transactions, maintain ledgers, and reconcile accounts.
• Payroll: Manage payroll processing and associated records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• BAS and Taxation: Prepare and assist with BAS lodgements
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with stakeholders to answer queries and provide advice as required.
• Process: Introducing systems, efficiencies, automation and processes for the benefit of improving the overall value for clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a bookkeeper

• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero essential)

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

• Effective communication skills for stakeholder interactions and internal collaboration.

• A self starter able to work within an uncertain and quickly changing environment

About Your Qualifications and Experience • Part-qualified or fully-qualified CPA/CA • Background in Accounting and taxation • Strong Microsoft Excel skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience in an NFP or charity environment would be highly regarded.
