Overview:

Lifeline South Coast Community Kitchen is seeking dedicated volunteers to serve as Community Kitchen Attendants. This role plays a vital part in supporting our mission to provide nutritious meals and support services to vulnerable community members in a non-judgemental space.

Responsibilities:

• No experience necessary, just a willingness to learn and an open mind.

• Assist with food preparation, cooking, and serving meals in accordance with Food & Safety Hygiene standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and storing food items properly.

• Collaborate with Community Kitchen Manager and volunteers to ensure efficient operations during meal service hours.

• Follow procedures for food handling, storage, and waste disposal to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
