Main tasks will involve sending fundraising emails, calling donors or potential donors, booking meetings and keeping records. We seeking someone charismatic, assertive and passionate.

You will need to develop a great understanding of who we are and our history. We were founded in 2023 by survivors of the Esther Foundation, after advocating for justice for our community we developed a desire to provide similar supports to others who have experienced abuse or mistreatment from mental health or alcohol and other drug services in Western Australia.

We are currently run entirely by volunteers and are unfunded. Your assistance will help us fundraise to begin and expand our projects, hire staff and get our feet off the ground. Our projects will have a massive impact on reforming the mental health and alcohol and other drug services sector and supporting current, former and future survivors of abuse or mistreatment.

You will need to be available on a weekday during standard working hours for a minimum of 2-3 hours a week. You would need to be confident making phone calls, good at writing professional emails, be assertive and well spoken. You will need to have very good English language skills and be able to speak passionately.

You will receive a paid sim card with a number to make calls from and will be set up with a Flying Free email address. You will need to have your own phone, ideally with a double sim card feature or be willing to switch sim cards when working.

You will need to have internet access and some familiarity with Microsoft. You will not be calling random numbers but ones from a specific list who are being contacted for a reason.

This is an incredibly important role and one which we feel will be the step which helps us grow and make an impact. We are open to hiring multiple people to support us with this.
