Event Administrator

The Volunteer Event Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the planning and execution of the 2024 Santa Paws event. They will work closely with the event planning team and other team members to ensure that all aspects of the event run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contacting brands and stallholders to participate in the 2024 Santa Paws Event
  • Communicate bump-in times and bump-out times
  • Help maintain the event budget and track expenses, providing regular updates to the event planning team.
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of event marketing materials, such as flyers, posters, and social media posts.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including furniture and prop hire, equipment hire, and power.
  • Ensure event compliance with the venue, including insurance, traffic management, noise, health and safety etc.
  • Assist in post-event evaluations and reports to assess the success of the event and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide administrative support as needed, such as data entry, filing, and responding to inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Previous experience in event planning or administration is a plus but not required.
