Event Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate adoption events, including but not limited to Markets, Custom events, corporate events, and local business pop-ups.

Collaborate with the marketing team to determine event dates, locations, and logistics.

Secure event venues, permits, and necessary equipment or supplies. Develop event timelines and ensure all aspects of the event are well-organized and executed smoothly.

Dog Handling and Care: Coordinate with foster carers or shelter staff to select adoptable dogs to feature at each event.

Ensure the safety and well-being of dogs during events, including providing water, shade, and breaks as needed.

Team Management and Volunteer Coordination: Recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with event setup, dog handling, customer service, and cleanup.

Provide training and guidance to volunteers to ensure they are well-prepared to fulfill their roles effectively.

Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, recognizing and appreciating the contributions of volunteers.

Must Haves: A passion for people with a friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with volunteers, staff, and the public. Experience in event planning, marketing, or volunteer management is preferred but not required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
