The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in North Sydney.

Spend time with an with an elderly woman who is seeking a Social Visitor at a Residential Care Home in Hunters Hill. Enjoy a having coffee at the onsite coffee shop and chatting together about gardening, baking, knitting and dressmaking.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
