We are seeking tutors to assist inner-city public housing children in Collingwood with their education. Many of these children are migrants who are behind in Maths, Literacy and senior subjects are in need of tutoring to assist them catch up their peers so that they will enjoy school and learning. The aim is to give them better chance of not dropping out of school early and helping them to excel in their education - gaining meaningful employment opportunities in the future. We offer you an opportunity to join a vibrant program of volunteers from all walks of life and ages. Weekly tutoring classes will run during Vic school terms 2 & 3 only during the year from 5pm - 8:30pm at a Collingwood venue

Tutoring manager's assistance is for during Vic school terms 2 + 3

Evening tutoring managers assistant is required weekly 5pm - 8:30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings

We are looking for a commitment for at least 1 school term period. (already commenced)
