The Program Assist with raising funds through the delivery of a tea room service to support the everyday work of Red Cross.

Volunteers assist to deliver the Tea Room service through providing excellent customer service emphasising a positive experience for our customers.

The opportunity

Red Cross is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help Red Cross branch members raise much needed funds for Red Cross services. This role suits someone who has good communication and interpersonal skills and is able to work effectively as part of a team.

By joining the team you'll get the opportunity to help weary travellers experience the hospitality of Lismore and the Red Cross and:   

  • Learn valuable food handling skills
  • Work with a team of committed volunteers
  • Meet new people and share your skills and experience with others

The Impact

As a Red Cross Volunteer, you will provide a positive experience and a much needed service to the customers at the Red Cross (Location) Tea Rooms; whilst raising money for Australian Red Cross. Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the World’s largest humanitarian network.
