We are searching for fun, happy and young at heart Reading Buddies who have a kind and understanding nature and have good listening ears for general classroom supported reading. Successful Reading Buddies will be listening to children of all ages read to you. books/book work will be provided by the classroom teacher. Welcomed into a fully supported, friendly, warm, environment. Flexible hours (during school hours) to suit your needs, access to tea and coffee facilities our Reading Buddies will be able to meet new people and form friendships with other Reading Buddies. Reading Buddies will have the opportunity to watch students flourish and progress with their reading and literacy skills, while building on skills of their own. We are happy to provide support and training if needed.
