Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the program team to conceptualize, plan, and execute a variety of events, including workshops, fundraisers, community outreach activities, and recreational outings.
  2. Develop event timelines, budgets, and logistical plans, ensuring that all aspects of event planning and execution are coordinated effectively.
  3. Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and partners to secure necessary resources and support for events, including venues, catering, entertainment, and promotional materials.
  4. Recruit and manage volunteers to assist with event setup, operation, and teardown, ensuring that all tasks are delegated and executed efficiently.
  5. Promote events through various channels, including social media, email newsletters, and community outreach efforts, to maximize attendance and engagement.
  6. Evaluate the success of events through post-event surveys, feedback analysis, and performance metrics, and provide recommendations for improvement and future planning.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in event planning, coordination, or management, preferably within the non-profit sector.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for creating memorable and impactful experiences.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced environment.
