We're seeking new talent with exceptional communication skills and a talent for strategic planning. If you're highly organised, passionate about open dialogue, and have a keen interest or background in public health or education, this opportunity is tailor-made for you.

The successful volunteer will be instrumental in fostering strong relationships with partnering community organisations and partnering schools. Collaborating closely with the Partnerships Executive, you will develop long term strategies to engage our stakeholders and attract potential new ones. This is an excellent opportunity to develop yourself both personally and professionally.

Specific responsibilities include:

Stakeholder engagement

  • Carry out operational responsibilities for Stakeholder Engagement, in close collaboration with the Partnerships Executive.
  • Provide proactive support to the Partnership Team by identifying community organisations and initiating relationships early in the year.
  • Enhance (written) agreements for both new and existing partnering community organisations, clarifying expectations and commitments.
  • Develop strategies for matching community organisations with students/schools based on local health issues.
  • Ensure partnering community organisations and community projects adequately align with the CHASE program and schools requests.
  • Maintain open communication with partnering schools and students to support the matching process, project planning, and implementation, throughout the school year.
  • Troubleshoot, address and escalate any issues that arise when matching students, schools and community organisations, in a timely manner.

Stakeholder and Partnership Development

  • Identify stakeholders and conduct research to identify relevant, potential stakeholders who can add ‘value’ to CHASE.
  • Develop and implement strategies to effectively engage potential stakeholders, including outreach initiatives, communication plans and participation opportunities.
  • Listen to potential stakeholders' feedback, concerns, and needs, and take appropriate actions to address them, fostering genuine relationships and increasing the overall reputation of CHASE.
  • Continuously monitor stakeholder engagement activities, track progress, and evaluate the effectiveness of strategies, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
