The position, reporting to the Board of Directors, includes tasks such as:  Reconciliation of Malvern’s accounts monthly;  Creditor payments – currently twice a month;  Maintain records on Reckon – current ERP program in use;  Point of contact for ANZ;  Annual review / audit of consolidated EGV accounts – financial year is 1 Jan thru 31 Dec;  Liaise with Branch Treasurer’s;  Record keeping – including electronic filing on Share point;  Subscription renewals;  Interact with Education, Gift Shop, Destash, Library, Office, Exhibitions (internal & external), Memberships, various Groups; and  Be accountable to the Members of the EGV. Reporting requirements:  Monthly Board Report – covers financial matters for the month prior and anything upcoming (Feb thru Dec);  Monthly Member’s Report – covering financial matters for the month prior, presented/tabled for the 2nd Saturday of each month, excluding January;  Submission of quarterly BAS reports and annual ACNC reporting;  Attendance and presentation of annual accounts at AGM – held in April; and  Prepare budget/s – annual and at review of membership rates for following year.

Time commitment to the role varies during the course of the year, with the largest portion of time given in the first quarter of the calendar year. This is due to annual accounts preparation and membership renewal period. On average, approximately 5 hours per week would be necessary for this role.
