Cancer Chicks is looking for new volunteer directors and an executive chair elect for the next phase of this exciting charity, which provides peer to peer support for young women (in the ages of 18-35) affected by cancer and/or chronic illness.

We are seeking passionate people with any of the following skills to lift the charity to the next level:

• Experience in leading an NFP organisation or business
• Fundraising and/or Grants
• Finances and Company Secretarial duties
• IT (knowledge of databases & Google Workspace admin)
• PR & Communication and/or advertising

Ideally you also bring:

• Lived experience
• Experience on an NFP board
• AICD qualification or similar evidence of solid understanding of director’s duties, including financial literacy, risk management & compliance, strategic & business planning

We have a small team that is fabulous at organising our events. We have volunteers who are keen to help but we do expect our board members to roll up their sleeves as well.

Board meetings are held generally every two months, mostly online.

We welcome people from all genders, ages and abilities.
