As a HammondCare At Home volunteer, you’ll spend time with someone in your local community who may be lonely or socially isolated. We're looking for caring individuals who can sit and have a chat, reminisce and talk about topics of interest with elderly people in their own homes.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to Volunteer socially with our elderly client in Pretty Beach, Our Client has a passion for architecture and he would enjoy a friendly visitor to have a chat over a cuppa.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
