Volunteering with HammondCare At Home is one way you can give something back to the aged or frail in our society. Not only does volunteering have an impact on the person you spend time with, but you'll learn a lot and meet new people.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to Volunteer socially with our elderly client in Condell Park, She loves to get out and go to the shops, along with getting her hair and nails done. Our Client is Italian and would enjoy a friendly visitor to have a chat over a cuppa with who could speak in Italian or English.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
