As a HammondCare volunteer, you'll be helping residents enjoy a variety of games - Dominos, Chess, Chinese checkers, Scrabble, dominoes, card games just to name a few. Come along and prepare to be challenged as you volunteer your time at HammondCare Waratah. You'll be helping to reduce social isolation.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
