As a remote HammondCare Life Stories Editor you will assist under the guidance of staff to provide a proof-reading service for our Life Stories Program. The role is designed to support volunteer biographers to produce a well written Biography.

Ideally, you'll have the following skills:

-Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word. -This is a skilled volunteer role and requires a high-level knowledge of grammar and an attention to detail. -Ability to work independently and problem solve. -Willingness to learn new technology and software. -Read the final copy of the Life Story and make corrections relating to spelling, grammar, inconsistencies in formatting, page numbers, page breaks, photos and labelling. -Track changes through the Review function in Word so that the Volunteer can accept or reject the suggested changes.
