Onboarding program and annual requirements.

Time required

Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays Morning Shift - 9:00 am to 12 noon. Afternoon Shift - 12 noon to 3:30 pm.

Requirements

National Police Certificate

In accordance with the Tasmanian Department of Health guidelines, prospective volunteers need to meet the following criteria: *Be 18 years or older. *Attend a Volunteer Interview and Information Session. *Undergo a criminal record and working with children clearance check. *Undertake immunisation checks and clearance. *Attend annual fire training. *Attend annual WH&S training. *Attend annual Hand Hygiene training. *Complete The Fundamentals of Safeguarding Children and Young People Training. *Sign a confidentiality agreement. *Complete a medical declaration. *Attend induction and corporate orientation. *Commit to at least 12 months volunteering. *Undertake a probationary period. *Have good communication skills. *Be punctual and reliable. *Be well presented.
