DonateDirect is an exciting organisation which helps get donations of material aid from the community (essential household items) DIRECTLY to people in need (see profile).

There have been hundreds of amazing stories about how receiving a donation through DonateDirect has impacted on the lives of disadvantaged people in a positive way, providing them with basic essentials and improving their self-esteem and dignity.

DonateDirect works with Community Organisations (charities and other community service providers) to help these organisations obtain donations for their clients. DonateDirect started off in Victoria and many Community Organisations are aware of and use our service for their clients. There are far fewer users interstate who utilise our service.

Key duties of Marketing Role:

DonateDirect is seeking a volunteer with a marketing background with the primary role of marketing the organisation to interstate Community Organisations and Donors outside of Victoria so they can also benefit from our service.

Skills - Prior experience in marketing would be is preferred. Experience in not-for-profit sector is an advantage.

As a volunteer you would have the experience of helping to grow an organisation from a local to a national level. At the same time, you would be helping people who are homeless and helping promote sustainability with a positive impact on the environment.
