Street Side Medics is a not-for-profit, GP lead organisation who provide a free mobile medical service to those experiencing homelessness and tough times.

The team on the ground each week are all volunteers and include GPs, other medical specialists, junior doctors, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and other medical and non-medical super stars. The clinics operate from vans with full medical fit outs, and work in conjunction with other homeless services 6 days a week at 9 different locations across Sydney and Wollongong.

Your commitment as a GP would be to join a team and attend one clinic a month totally at 3-4 hours.

Our clinics are located at: Manly (Monday Night) Woolloomooloo (Tuesday Night) Surry Hills (Wednesday Night) Marrickville (Wednesday Night) Hornsby (Thursday Night) Wollongong (Thursday Night) Blacktown (Saturday Afternoon) Paramatta (Sunday Afternoon)

The Wollongong clinic, that operates every Thursday from 5pm-7pm in conjunction with the Lighthouse Food service in Railway Station Square, is currently our location of priority.
