genU’s PARTICIPATE Program supports people with disabilities, to have increased social participation and access to the community

However, we need your help!

The role:

Volunteers will help provide additional and extra support for our clients and program staff.

Volunteers will not only contribute to the physical well-being of the participants but also play a key role in fostering social connections and facilitating a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

For you:

• Make a difference in your community and get to know some new people!
• Your time will directly impact the lives of our elderly clients, enhancing their mental wellbeing and fostering a sense of community.
• Build new connections: Connect with professionals in the Allied Health field, expanding personal and professional networks.
• Receive ongoing support and training throughout your journey.

About you:

• Be motivated and flexible
• Have excellent conversation and listening skills.
• Are empathetic and compassionate about the wellbeing of older people.
• Passionate about giving back to your local community.

Time Commitment:

Monday to Friday 9.00am - 3.00pm
