Lifeline - keeping Australia safe:

Lifeline is committed to bringing hope to those doing it tough. A trusted national charity, we’re driven by the belief that lives lost to suicide can be prevented. In Queensland, we deliver our 24-hour 13 11 14 Lifeline Crisis Support line through 10 Lifeline centres – providing suicide prevention services with a non-judgmental and compassionate listening ear.

🧏🏼 Lend an ear to people in need: Sometimes people just need to be heard. We are looking for people, from all walks of life, who can be generous with their time, connecting with Help Seekers with empathy and compassion so they feel heard and acknowledged.

🏠 Volunteering on site or from home: In volunteering with Lifeline QLD, you will be part of a close-knit team of supportive volunteers and paid employees. Each Centre offers the opportunity to volunteer on site, remotely from home (if able to fulfill the technical and privacy requirements needed) or a combination of both.

  • Volunteer for 4-6 hours a fortnight
  • Demonstrate digital literacy
  • Meet the required selection criteria including a National Police Check and Blue Card
