MOSAIC Multicultural Centre is looking for an English teacher, preferably qualified in TESOL or CELTA, but community-mindedness is a must.

MOSAIC runs a range of activities, classes and programs for the local community. All activities are designed and delivered by volunteers with support from the Centre Supervisor.

The volunteer will be supported to:

• Prepare and conduct English lessons
• Identify and manage students’ learning needs
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives e.g. service evaluation and review
• Contribute to the dissemination of information
• Work under the supervision of the Centre Supervisor
• Adhere to the code of conduct and other council policies
• Duration of weekly lesson - 75 minutes
• Minimum 2 terms (16 weeks)
• Attend bimonthly volunteer meetings
