The YMCA is one of Australia’s oldest and most respected not-for-profit organisations with a 160 year history in Brisbane. In everything that we do, the YMCA aims to support young people and build strong communities. This is achieved through our key program areas including, childcare, camping, sport and recreation, accommodation, health and fitness, youth leadership, vocational education, affordable housing, op shops and breakfast programs.

The YMCA of Brisbane is directed by a volunteer Board and supported by an executive management team. We are seeking applications from highly capable, motivated and values–driven individuals to join our Board of Directors on a voluntary basis. It’s an exciting opportunity to contribute to the YMCA’s governance and assist with our future strategic direction.

We are specifically seeking to recruit a new Director who is well connected with strong professional networks and who brings specialist expertise and experience in the area of Strategic IT.
