Join Our Team! Volunteer as a Kitchen and Barista Extraordinaire!

Are you passionate about using your culinary skills to make a difference in the lives of others? Do you believe that everyone deserves a warm, nutritious meal and a comforting cup of coffee? If so, we invite you to become a Kitchen and Barista Volunteer at our East Perth facility!

At Barts, we are dedicated to providing essential support and care to individuals experiencing homelessness in our community. We believe that a hearty meal and a friendly face can bring hope and dignity to those facing difficult times.

As a Kitchen and Barista Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Prepare and serve delicious meals for our residents.
  • Brew and serve hot beverages, including coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, with a smile and a kind word.
  • Assist with cleaning and organizing the kitchen and courtyard areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Interact with our residents with empathy, respect, and kindness, making them feel welcome and valued.

No professional experience is required – just a passion for serving others, a willingness to learn and a desire to make a positive impact in the community. Whether you're a culinary enthusiast, a coffee aficionado, or someone looking to give back in a meaningful way, we welcome you to join our diverse and dedicated team of volunteers.

Benefits of volunteering with us:

  • Make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals experiencing homelessness.
  • Gain valuable experience working as a team with vulnerable communities.
  • Join a supportive community of volunteers who share your commitment to making a difference.
  • Foster connections with our residents, offering them a sense of belonging and compassion.

Join us in creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and cared for.
