Volunteering with HammondCare at Home in Oberon is one way you can give something back to the aged or frail in our society. We are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals who can sit and have a chat, reminisce and talk about topics of interest. You may want to spend some time in the garden, play cards, listen to music or do some arts and craft activities.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
