Who are we? Melbourne Eastern Ranges (MER) is a regional club of Special Olympics Australia, (SOA). Special Olympics Australia is part of a global sporting community for people with an intellectual disability and autism. Our year-round multi-sport program supports athletes with a range of capabilities. We provide an inclusive and supportive environment that supports athlete skill development, confidence and physical fitness.

Your skills Our Fundraising Coordinator will have well-developed interpersonal skills and be able to work independently. She/He/They, will be comfortable with basic technology including emails and spreadsheets. The successful candidate will enjoy inspiring new supporters to raise money, while maintaining and developing relationships with existing supporters. Our Fundraising Coordinator be comfortable generating fundraising targets and reporting to the committee. They/He/She will foster an encouraging environment where all members can operate effectively and contribute to meeting agreed outcomes.

**The position would be suitable for somebody who would like to 'give back' to their community and use their imagination and event management skills, to raise funds in a variety of ways.

Previous experience with intellectual disability and autism is a desirable skill. Experience working in a non-profit organisation is also a desirable skill.
