In this fulfilling role, you'll primarily focus on the essential task of transporting our animals with care and diligence. However, if your shift happens to be free of scheduled transfers, you might find yourself enjoying a leisurely stroll in the park with one of our delightful dogs. What are the tasks?

*Collect and safely transport animals from Illawarra shelter and local Petbarns or other locations as delegated and return to our Illawarra shelter

*Assist with runs such as mail, Woolworths, Bunnings, horse feeds and bulk newspaper collection

*Use safe animal handling techniques and read animal behaviour to provide suitable and welfare-considered care for each individual animal

*Reporting and communicating any signs of illness, injury or behaviour matters to staff
