Special Olympics provides a range of sport, recreation, social and health opportunities for people with an intellectual disability to have fun, be healthy, build self-esteem, demonstrate courage, and make friends.
We strongly encourage and welcome applications from people with strong administrative or management experience, with a lived experience with intellectual disability, and with the ability to build strong and positive working relationships.
We have a variety of positions available from sports coordination, treasurer, fundraising, communications to general committee members.
All roles are voluntary.
Desirable capabilities to enhance our Club Team: Compassion, Teamwork, Positive Attitude, Organisational Leadership, Training and Development Digital and Social Media are skills needed to varying degrees across our voluntary roles.
More detailed experience and skills are role specific.
