We seek a fully-trained and experienced engineering workshop Fitter and Machinist, able to work without close supervision to overhaul equipment and make new components.

All our vessels are either in regular use or are under restoration. Almost all the work such as making parts, forming heavy hull plates, overhauling pumps, steam engines, electrical items, fabricating pipe work, is done in-house, at the Rozelle Workshops. The place is home to many highly skilled trades, and some surprises: a former magistrate welding riveting and shaping 10mm thick hull plates, an architect restoring cabinet work, a chemical engineer is Chief Engineer of a steam launch.
