Friends for Good is a national not-for-profit organisation with a big mission, to reduce loneliness and social isolation. We rely on donations to support services such as FriendLine where people can call and have a chat with a friendly volunteer.

Our new project is Walk for Good, a national program where we are targeting loneliness at a local level. We are looking for people who are willing to facilitate a walk in their local area. Walk for Good Community Ambassadors will identify a safe and accessible short walk in their area, advertise to their local community and take the lead on the day. It will create a space for people to connect with others in their community. There is no cost for participants to join the walk, but we will encourage a donation on a "pay what you feel" basis. Walks can take place weekly, fortnightly, monthly or a few times per year.

Some of the skills and qualities we are looking for:

• Friendly personality with the ability to make participants feel welcome
• Organised and reliable
• Completion of a Police check (by Friends for Good)
