RSL LifeCareThe role of the Volunteer Driver is vital in creating a sense of wellbeing, connection, and community for veterans. The volunteer will drive veterans to their medical appointments or various social activities.
Main Tasks:

Collect the clients from the agreed pick-up point in ANZAC Village in Narrabeen and drive them to their medical appointments. Volunteers will drive the company’s car

Be available between the agreed time and drive the client to the agreed location
-
Ensure that all road and parking signs are obeyed and that passengers alight in a safe area

Provide social support to a client

Communicate and report concerns, issues and feedback to staff
Personal Qualities and Skills:

Have current Class C driver licence and a good driving record, which may be checked at any time

Have a sound knowledge of road rules

Great interpersonal skills and ability to make personal connections with people from different backgrounds

Be reliable, flexible and committed

Show patience, kindness and empathy for all passengers

A desire to make a positive difference in someone’s life
