Raymond Terrace Roosters are a community junior rugby league football club that is home to approximately 450 players.We are looking for a reliable, energetic, pleasant natured assistant to help with food preparation and service in our canteen.

Responsibilities include: • 30 hours per fortnight • Hold a current Food Handling Certificate (desired – can be obtained easily) • Hold a current WWCC • Ensure the canteen is open for business at the commencement of the first game throughout the season (Saturdays). • Open canteen 1.5 hours before first game, and close a minimum 1 hour after last game (Usually 7am-3pm) • Ensure an adequate food safety plan is in place at all times.
• Liaise with Exec Committee to ensure adequate stock is in supply for match days. • Liaise with team managers to arrange a voluntary labour roster to ensure the canteen is appropriately staffed on match days. • Ensure all game day takings are counted, minus float, countersigned by a witness and takings placed in the safe • Maintain strong relationships with all club suppliers throughout the football season.
• Assist other committee members in their duties as required.
• Undertake tasks at the request of the president or Executive Committee. • Be available with notice through the week to manage the canteen for school gala days (adhoc)

Season ends in September, but there is potential opportunity to continue working through the summer helping out Oztag and Cricket who utilise the fields.
