Content Writer (Volunteer)

The Content Writer (Volunteer) for The Nurtured Village Hampers (TNVH) is a volunteer position, responsible for creating social media content across all our platforms. You will play a critical leadership role in the planning and execution of social media marketing campaigns, key projects & as well as writing supportive and educational content. This remote position allows you to contribute your skills and expertise from any location in Australia on a flexible schedule of your choosing. The successful candidate will be tech-savvy, adaptable to emerging technologies, and possess a passion for making a positive impact in the maternal mental health sector. This role may appeal to a designer with experience or a university student keen to give back to charity or enhance their portfolio.

Duties & Responsibilities • Planning and creating written and graphic content across all social media platforms, keeping in line with the organisations mission and vision.

• Liaising with the Operations Managers, volunteer Graphic design volunteers and Marketing manager. • Writing copy that will support our Graphic designer and Operations managers for use across all our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook and Linkedin)

Key Selection Criteria • Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with an attention to detail. • Digitally savvy - knowing the latest trends and how to engage audiences, adaptable to emerging software. • Content creation can do - you can write captions that captivate, design visuals that stop the scroll and tell stories that matter. • A go-getter attitude - you're not afraid to take initiative, experiment, and learn from your mistakes. • Organisation rockstar - you can plan, schedule, and track content like a pro! • Team player - you collaborate effectively and appreciate different perspectives. • Tech-ready - you have your own laptop, mobile, and a reliable internet connection.

Experience: • Previous experience in digital marketing/social media experience or a related field is preferred. • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 365. • Will need to use Trello (no prior experience necessary)
